Welcome to the Harold R. Yeary and the Senator Judith Zaffirini Libraries

Harold R. Yeary Library is located at the center of the Fort McIntosh Campus. It houses over 80,000 bound volumes and about 150 print periodicals. In addition to a central study section, Yeary Library provides group study rooms, a Periodicals reading area, microfilm reader-printers, paper photocopiers, and a computer lab. Yeary Library also houses the Center for Learning, Academic, and Student Success (CLASS), TRIO Student Support Services program, and executive conference rooms.

Senator Judith Zaffirini Library is located on the first floor of Building B at the South Campus. Zaffirini Library has a collection of almost 40,000 bound volumes and over 90 periodical subscriptions and is equipped with a computer lab, group study rooms, and paper photocopiers.

 Both Laredo College Libraries also offer an extensive electronic collection including e-books, periodical subscriptions, and online databases. Interlibrary and Intralibrary Loan services are provided free of charge to all Laredo College students, faculty, and staff. Bibliographic instruction is also offered at both libraries provided by Laredo College librarians.

Laptop Request

The library has currently distributed all available laptops. Requests will be processed in the order they were received as laptops become available. Students needing a laptop will be placed on a waiting list. Due to a significant backlog, we cannot guarantee that every student on the list will receive a laptop this semester.
