    • Abstract:
The article pays tribute to litterateur Vita Sackville-West. As many of the readers of Virginia Woolf Miscellany (VWM), literateur Vita Sackville-West's study is today almost exactly as she left when she died in 1962. Her books are still in the arrangement she chose, poetry in one collection and gardening in another. Her ancient oak writing table holds the photographs she looked at every day. One of the faces is Virginia Woolf's, a studio portrait taken in 1929. All together, the room gives the impression of having concluded its story long ago.
