    • Abstract:
This article looks at an inheritance left to the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe tribe of films from the 1960s and reel-to-reel audio tapes with songs and stories on them which were recorded by Tony Wise. Wise was a friend of the Wisconsin Indian people and he made the recordings to preserve their heritage. Wise died and left the movies and tapes to the Ojibwe. The tribe's college has taken on the task of transferring all the images and sound to digital media to further save them for new generations. The "Audio Visual Production Project" is manned by students and staff. Students were trained by the Work Based Learning Intern Program in Wisconsin.
