Presents the speech "My Friend, Mr. Still," delivered by Mike Mullins at the Mountain Heritage Literary Festival in Tennessee on June 24, 2006. Topics discussed include the author's friendship with Appalachian author James Still (1906-2001), starting after the author read Still's novel "River of Earth" in college, and continuing during their association at the Hindman Settlement School in Kentucky.
