    • Abstract:
Tests for n Ach and attitudes were given to three groups of Tanzanian Ss representing different levels of economic success, and were compared with levels of academic and economic achievement of the Ss and their families. Results failed to support hypotheses in most cases. In the discussion, administrative and theoretical difficulties which help to explain the negative results are examined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
