      The article presents a case study of how payments system company PayPal enhances security using artificial intelligence and keeps fraud losses below industry average. It discusses the use of deep learning and other artificial-intelligence strategies to keep up with threats and reduce fraud rate. Ashar Aziz, vice chairman and founder of security firm FireEye Inc., says that his firm has been using deep learning from detecting network intrusions to phishing attacks.
