      The article presents an update on several labor-related studies at the Industrial Relations Committee of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana as of 1976. A study which compared the attitudinal and demographic behaviors of teachers was is conducted by Roy R. Naastrom. The thesis of Richard Davis was on a comparative analysis of actual actions by a school board. While, John F. Baum studied the determinants of absenteeism among blue-collar workers in the automobile industry. One of the research highlights was the relationship between job attributes and withdrawal behavior.
