    • Abstract:
      The article focuses on author Nathaniel Hawthorne and his writings about science. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts on July 4, 1804 and studied at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1981. His novel "Fanshawe" was published in 1828 and his popular works include "The Scarlet Letter," "The House of the Seven Gables" and "The Blithedale Romance." It is said that the short stories written by Hawthorne have an indirect connection to the specific discoveries and technological progress of his day.
