      In this article the author discusses the link between authors and place, as in the place that they consider home, and contemplates the places that have been her home. She talks about her childhood experiences in Lockport, New York, in the 1950s and describes Lockport, including her memories of the the Lockport Public Library, the downtown, Palace Theater and of commuting to school. Her relationship with film as a writer is also discussed, as well as how she incorporates her experiences into her writing.
