    • Abstract:
In this article the author comments on the religious article of John McClure. She states that McClure's article describe the period of resacralization in contemporary fiction and theory as a movement toward religious ways, and claims that McClure complicated the postmodern works of several biblical scholars. She argues that the acquaintance of the prophetic in postsecular fiction provides literary scholars a reference for thinking about the turn to religion in academic discourse.
