Consideraciones anatómicas y quirúrgicas de la cirugía mínimamente invasiva de las masas anexiales.
    • Abstract:
The article discusses anatomical and surgical factors for minimally invasive surgery of adnexal mass lesions. Laparoscopy was first introduced in the past decade and was immediately recognized by gynecologic surgeons for its success as a treatment option as it offered them a way to more accurately diagnose and treat diseases of the pelvic and abdominal areas, as well as minimizing bleeding due to the procedure. The article evaluates laparoscopy performed by surgeons trained in advanced laparoscopic techniques as a safe and effective alternative to more invasive forms of surgery, as well as reducing morbidity.
