      The authors examine the best approaches that they perceive a company can take when dealing with a public relations crisis. The authors assert that many times corporations overreact to a crisis, which can turn a relatively small problem into a major disaster. According to the authors corporations shouldn't over apologize for any public relations misstep that they may encounter, because it can prolong the media attention.
