    • Abstract:
The article presents commentary on students' evaluations of college teachers in U.S. universities and colleges. The author imagines the students' review responses to Socrates as a professor. He imagines responses questioning sexist language and contradictory statements, statements about Socrates' arrogance and dominance with no room for intellectual development and social change ideas, and praise for his teaching of justice challenges to students. The responses given show the possibility for personal bias in and cultural influence on evaluations.
