    • Abstract:
The culture of secrecy in the Golden Age appears on stage, not only from secretaries, confessors, spies and servants who deal with words, but also from theatre musicians, who do the same but with sung poetry. This is one of the privileged ways for Bances Candamo to avoid the excessive protagonism of the gracioso and to prevent that noble characters appear indecorously as traitors. This article, based on the play Sangre, valor y fortuna, focuses in the metaphysical procedures used by Bances in order that a truth passes from the intimate to the public. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
