    • Abstract:
      The article reports on managing sewage for a population of 1,800 people plus sludge from a few surrounding large industries at the Village of Spencer in Wisconsin. The community needed a building to cover two sewage tanks which would hold 165,000 gallons each in order to prevent freezing problems. On the other hand, the Village board also purchased a 55-by 62-foot Cover-All Legend building to produce a consistent fertilizer and minimize maintenance. According to the plant operator Gerald Marden, their aeration process to keep bacteria alive works at full capacity without freezing.
